Workshop: Resilience and the Phoenix - Kundalini Yoga Gong Bath

Sunday, January 10 @ 2:00PMSun, Jan 10 @ 2:00PM

Join Tabather for an afternoon of exploration and experiential practice. Diving into the myth of the phoenix and how this legendary bird of paradise represents one of the grandest stories of resilience. Using this archetypal energy, be guided through an embodied Kundalini practice which calls you to action. To awaken and initiate your own natural and innate ability to be reborn from the ashes of your challenges and trauma, your pain and hardships. To discover different aspects of applied fortitude aka radical resilience when there’s no going back to how it was before. Weaving it all together with mantra, movement, meditation, breath work and finishing with a long gong bath and some collective creativity.

Workshop: Yoga of Sound and Silence - with Lisa

Sunday, December 20, 2020 @ 3:00PMSun, Dec 20, 2020 @ 3:00PM

Join Lisa for this yoga workshop where we will explore the yoga of sound, movement and stillness. We will start by softening into the breath, attuning & deeply listening to the sounds around us, the sounds within & the silence in between. We will embark on a warming movement practice to ease and stretch out the body. Feeling relaxed and energised we’ll finish with a short session of mantra offered by Lisa, which you are welcome to join or to listen to.

The vibrations of the human voice and the connectedness we feel upon hearing or joining in with its resonance, offer the opportunity for a deeply blissful, connected & healing experience.

“People say I’m singing to the Hindu deities but what does that mean? What is a deity? It’s like an older, deeper, bigger being. It’s a space, a presence, a feeling. These names are the names of that place inside of us that is love, pure being, pure awareness, pure joy”.

Kriśna Das

2 hour workshop - all levels.

Restore and Transform - A Restorative Yoga Nidra Workshop with Christina 🌜

Sunday, November 8, 2020 @ 3:00PM — 5:00PMSun, Nov 8, 2020 @ 3:00PM — 5:00PM

Luna Wave Inside the Dome

This workshop is medicine for the body-mind. A deeply healing 2 hour practice which brings the whole being into a deeper level of awareness.

We unwind the body through a specially sequenced series of restorative postures which calm the nervous system and bring us into a deeply restful and insightful state. From this receptive, relaxed space Christina guides you inwards through an incredibly transformational and lengthy Nidra meditation practice. These special workshop Nidras are designed to help the practitioner discover more about their inner experience through observation, learning to work with limiting emotions, beliefs and thoughts from a place of loving kindness and deep awareness.

Nidra is a form of deep guided meditation – sometimes called sleep yoga or dream yoga - that induces a state of deep relaxation, healing and transformation.

The Nidra practice brings you into a state somewhere between awake and asleep, where the thinking mind is set free and we settle into brain waves associated with healing, relaxation and creativity.

During the practice all you need to do is lay down and follow Christina’s voice.

Nidra is an extremely helpful practice for challenging times. Endorsed by the US Military as a complementary medicine and used to treat soldiers experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In scientific trials Yoga Nidra has been found to: Improve sleep Decrease anxiety and experience of depression Alleviate stress Increase connection with all layers of Self Increase clarity and focus Increase experience of presence *Help rework limiting beliefs, patterns and habits.

Ever wondered if there’s more to Yoga than a bit of a workout? A good stretch? In this 3 hour workshop we will look at some fundamental questions; Why do we practice asana? What does “going deeper” actually mean? How can we apply Yoga philosophy to our direct experience on the mat?

We will look at the first 4 of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and investigate how they can be applied to our posture work.

We will explore asana, mantra, meditation and pranayama.

All levels of experience welcome 🌱

Full Moon Yin R E S T - S H O P with Ciara 🌜

Full Moon Yin R E S T - S H O P

Like a workshop, but without the work. This Yin restshop will be all about slowing down and turning inward.

A one hour nurturing Yin Yoga sequence weaving in beautiful poems and powerful affirmations. Closing the practice with a deeply restorative, essential oil infused Savasana to seal in all the goodness.

Following the practice we will have a moment to reflect— connecting to the Full Moon, jotting down what we wish to call into our lives, and what we wish to release.

There will be an opportunity to get to the sea for anyone feeling like they wish to bath under the light of full moon ( or even just get your toes in )

And we will close the R E S T - SHOP with tea and biccys around the fire to warm up as we release into the fire what no longer serves.

The hope is that we can tap into the potent energy of the full moon to release and shed any fears, blockages or resistance towards the best version of yourself.

Workshops have a 3 day refund policy. If you need to cancel please let us know 3 days before for a refund. Places under 3 days can be transferred to a friend- let us know if you need to do this.
